Coach Taylor is entering his first season as Head Coach of the Wildcats. Just a year after serving as Interim Head Coach, he is in his 4th season at Columbia as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator. He will also serve as the Offensive Line and Linebackers position Coach. Began his High School coaching in 2018, and was a two time Assistant Coach of the year in Washington State. He has a number of training certifications including NFHS Level 3, USATF Level I, USATF Advanced Level II, IAHC Health Coach. Coach Taylor is also the Head Track Coach and works with the Sprinters and Relays for Columbia Track & Field and has multiple certifications in speed, nutrition, and wellness. Born and raised in Renton, WA, Coach Taylor played college football for the University of Puget Sound where he graduated with a degree in Economics before pursuing a Masters in Business Administration and Management. He currently works in the Department of Finance and Administration for the City of Boise and is passionate about helping student-athletes reach their full potential on and off the field.
